SHAHV, or Speech-Language-Hearing Association of the Hudson Valley, is a coalition of Speech-Language-Pathologists who want to be a resource for the local speech, language, and hearing community. The logo was designed to represent communication as well as the region.
The brand overall is very clean/airy/light. It’s meant to be simple and unobtrusive.
One roadblock in creating the logo was the extremely long name. The acronym is used in most places, but wherever possible the full name is used so that people will know the full organization name.
