The Army Cyber Institute is a resource located at West Point, aimed at being a hub for research and education in the cyber world for the army, government, and industrial communities. They wanted the brand to feel army-related without sticking to the standard style of graphics generally used in armed forces materials — it’s meant to be fresh and crisp, and represent the idea of computers/technology at the same time.

Cybertalks are public educational presentations given as part of the ACI, similar to TED talks. They wanted this logo to also feel unique and tech-focused, but with an eye toward possibly expanding the concept beyond the army and becoming its own thing.
