Down to Earth Markets is a coalition of Farmer’s Markets in the Hudson Valley, Westchester, and New York City. They had an existing brand solution, but needed a website developed to interact with their data management service. The website pulls in data(markets, vendors, events, etc.) and populates the website.
In addition to being designed responsively to accommodate tablets and mobile devices, a custom backend system was developed to allow DTE to manage the website. They can upload the data reports and edit other website information themselves.
Users can navigate the website easily on desktop or mobile and can easily find the market nearest them or where their favorite farm is going to be selling, when, and what will be in season.
Down to Earth was wrapping up on a re-branding project and a management systems project. We needed someone who understood both graphic design and database design to bring our website to life. Cody turned out to be the guy. He executed beautifully on the visual and designed a back end that captures the data from our management system to drive the content of our website. Cody designed an easy interface so we can update the site in-house and on demand. He's there to train or trouble shoot as needed.
