Maranatha Human Services provides assistance to people and families in need. They wanted their logo/brand to represent caring, love, comfort, guidance, and support, while also remaining crisp and unique. The idea of hands creating a heart holding an M fit perfectly.
Every piece of their design carried the same design theme, with the cyan/purple color scheme throughout.
Query also wrote the “Supporting families. Guiding people. Improving lives.” tagline as well as some of the branding copy for Maranatha.
The Maranatha website was designed to give the organization a web presence where people could learn more about who they are and what they do. It carries the same branding as the rest of the materials.
The website was designed to be responsive; to accommodate tablets, smartphones and any other mobile devices. It was built in WordPress, making it easily editable. Content can be added/removed/changed with a few clicks.
The mobile version of the website allows exactly the same functionality and information as the desktop version, but with an accommodating layout and structure. The branding is preserved as well, so the website “feels” the same and doesn’t look like a generic mobile template website.
Overall, the cohesive brand look & feel is present throughout everything designed for Maranatha, giving their organization a professional, considered presence.
We were looking to overhaul our Not-for-Profit website which had started to look outdated. With our old website we had to go through a secondary party to change our content (something that could be costly and time consuming) so it was important this time around to find a web designer who could build in Wordpress. It was also important that our new site was modern and showcased what we do as an agency through a variety of media (video, pictures, etc.).
