I’m Cody Schatzle, owner/designer at Query Creative. I’ve been a designer for nearly a decade and have worked as everything from a lowly design grunt, to a creative director, to a small business owner, to a web design professor at a local University (SUNY New Paltz).
I started Query because I wanted to work directly with clients/businessowners to help them define their brand and create the best possible vision of their business (also I wanted to make my own hours). I think design can and should be a fun, creative process for both the designer and the client.

We were looking to overhaul our Not-for-Profit website which had started to look outdated. With our old website we had to go through a secondary party to change our content (something that could be costly and time consuming) so it was important this time around to find a web designer who could build in Wordpress. It was also important that our new site was modern and showcased what we do as an agency through a variety of media (video, pictures, etc.).
